Wow. What difference does "a man of colour" make at all?
Sure, there are some racists and bigots in the U.S. as there are all over the world. But they are the minority.
I'm sure Obama's policies and legislation with regards to business and the economy are much bigger factors in whether Wall Street and the American commerce lobby are going to try to sink his campaign.
On the other hand, there are tens of millions of working poor and unemployed who are grateful for the actions Obama and his administration have taken during his term. They too still get to vote even if they aren't spending part of their Sunday afternoon on a stock discussion forum like we are.
Whether you respect the man or not, the colour of his skin is a 1960s argument.
