I did something similar this year with my RESP portfolio and TD, they just do a transfer based on the day end share price of the transferred stock, just tell them how much you want to transfer in dollar value (RRSP limit) and they will do the rest.

The other good aspect of this type of transfer is that there is no commission fee.

GLTA Longs, 2012 should be a cracker for CUU.
