That's correct, Venture stocks are fine for both RRSP and TFSA accounts. I knew that I couldn't place OTC stocks in my RRSP but when I tried to place an OTC-traded company in my TFSA a couple of years ago I found out that that wasn't permitted either. I don't know why; some Venture companies are decidedly 'iffy' as investments and some companies whose shares trade OTC or the pinks are as solid as any blue-chip (not that blue chips are necessarily that solid these days either).
