I mentioned there was a timeframe in the confernece call post. I notice the trend in global affairs is gaining speed. We have to make the decision to sell or curl up in a ball soon. (An armoured ball). The article below presents an accurate (mostly) perspective on global affairs. The errors are easy to spot. For example, the next upstart in USA politics would be the libertarian dud not some old hacks from yester year. Ron Paul has a better chance of galvanising the youth vote.
Put aside the obvious errors and the rest stands. Those are the defacto positions of the mentioned countries. China will roll over but it will take a very lon time. In the mean time something else will happen to slow the decent. The author does dismiss the technological advancements a bit too easy but does correctly tie in the oil situation.
If I had time I would write a more detached summary of the global situation and offer more reasoned predictions with appropriate citations to the fact sources. But that's just not going to happen for a month or two. This article is close to what I conclude will happen. There is to be a spike before the fall and we should all try to profit by it.
After you read this you will have a better idea of what I meant by "economic discussions with Elmer". We accept that this is highly likely. Not 100% for certain but trending in that direction. I have stated for some time that we must be out by May. If not then we must consider a longer term to come out when labour is cheap and the world is rebuilding. I hold that 2 wild cards exist. One is the technological revolution gets a chance to start and the second is that a new Atlantis forms (possibly Canada). The tech revolution will change the world as we know it. I should insert a number of links here but that would be distracting (but educational). The second saviour is a new world center that leads from a position of strength.
