That's irrational. The buyout price isn't going to be determined by how much Elmer is personally making in profit.

Someone in management told me in a brief conversation that they didn't want to leave anyone behind, i.e. that people have bought up to $2.75 and they don't want to leave them out of any deal. It was a offhand remark but I was pleased to hear it. If it is going to be left up to the whim of Elmer then I would safely guess it is going to be above that number.
