Points taken, definitely. The opportunity cost has been excrutiating waiting for this to play out, though. Also, regardless of what people might think of Webgogs macro-opinions (i am very much of the same mindset) the fact is that the potential for this market to take a swan dive, while not given, is VERY heightened. Commods have NOT decoupled enough...it's generally still one trade and TCK would use that BIG time. In the face of, say, a 30% market dive, would EE sit on his shares or take a $2.50/share offer from TCK and move on with his 10-15 bagger to soak up some undervalued items that have been hit hard? Not saying that will happen of course, but it is certainly a possibility, and i beleive far more than a wild hypothetical. Ahhhhh, TSX venture stocks...such fun. :-)
Say you bought gold when it was $100/oz. It's worth $1700 now. Would you ever sell your $100/oz because it's a 10 bagger already?
There are many reasons to sell and profit, but selling cheap and having the feeling that somebody fleeced you will always prevent you from selling.
