Message: New Board same as the Old Board

Kerry said in part, "I thought Nilly and Vette would act on the soft bashing which is more subtle yet as damaging as anything Specy spewed out..."

Actually, we do and often it's not noticed. Sometimes me, sometimes vette, and I'm pleased that I'm no longer the only moderator. I wouldn't mind if chappy, golfyeti, prospekt and a few others were on the list too.

There are some messages which do remain 'unremoved' which could be considered "soft-bashing". Or they could simply be considered of the "glass half-empty" sort, depending on your point of view. Vette can speak for himself but I prefer to give posters the benefit of the doubt, if there is any doubt, bearing in mind that the majority of contributors here are both smart and knowledgeable. Anyone so unfamiliar with the story as to not be able to parse meanings in messages perhaps shouldn't be invested in CUU. Please note that that last bit doesn't apply to KL whose contributions I value as much as anyone else's. I just happen to be responding to his comment.

But never mind the 'soft-bashing'; many recent posts would be considered off-topic on other boards but are allowed to remain here. Again, vette can speak for himself if he chooses but I do recognize that the confluence of events regarding the developing CUU story and the macro world are such that the line between off-topic and on-topic can be a fuzzy one. So, they stay. Will the collapse of Greece trigger an adverse market reaction or is it already built in? And would it affect CUU anyway, either way? I don't know. I don't think anyone else does either but don't let that stop you! :-)

GLTA CUU longs.
