I'm not embarrassed to say I'm all in. I got tired of making some gains here, losing there, market manipulation, trying to spread the risk, selfish corporate execs who have little invested in their Company and on it goes. I made a conscientious decision to go large on this one. I don't expect to see another stock again (I'm over 50) that provides such a comfort level on the downside and such a huge upside. It has all the right metals in its basket, strong, proven management with a seasoned geo at the helm, a take-out agreement in place with a respected Company operating in its own backyard and well connected to a country with a huge appetite and equally huge investment dollars and ... it's in one of the most politically stable and prosperous countries in the world. But the real decider ? Insiders control the fate of the company and have a massive personal stake in its success. I was happy to see Ernesto there, but David McDonald's constant buying in the market did it for me. These fellas don't gamble. So I did my diligence. I didn't like the 380+ million o/s shares at the time, but it really doesn't matter now.
So yes - stupid for not diversifying and following the rules as most professionals advocate, but I like Vette's quote from Warren Buffet - "Diversication is insurance against ignorance."
