No it would definately add to Tecks shareholder value in the event of an acquisition, a deposit of this size will certainly have ramifications for the price of Tck.B common shares.
However anything that might leave us with 100% of this deposit causes me to salivate as well.
A logical chain of events would be Teck acquiring us, followed by Glencore-Xstrata acquiring Teck. However, if we recieve shares of Tck.B for our percentage of ownership, we might be then able to lateral our newly acquired Tck.B into Glencore-Xstrata shares and make a premium both times.
The market presents many opportunities if you know how to read them, not all will come to pass but the thought of Teck getting bought out is certainly making my mind think of many strategies to potentially capitalize on it.
Anyone think of any other logical scenarios? This board is getting kind of stale anyways and peoples opinions on this fact could be very interesting indeed.
