I doubt Teck would walk away from SC even if they did buyout an iron producer. More than likely, Teck would find a partner or partners to structure a takeout deal for CUU entirely and then develope SC on their own timeline agreeable to each partner(s). Also, I think a valuation of 15B is a little pie in the sky if Teck walked away. That would make us the most expensive buyout in mining history by a long shot! Let's get a little down to earth here. I can see us being taken out b/n $10-15 per share if we suddenly now own 100% with Teck out of the way but $30/sh - no way.
