Message: Slow assays

Thanks BCmetallurgist. How does the geotechnical interpretation of the core affect the core slicing and assay sampling? Is this just a matter of "oh, there is a fault at x depth, inclined at Y degrees blah blah blah"? Or does each crack and other structural anomally need to be dissected and puzzled with prior to splitting and assaying? I've noticed that our geotechnical/deliniation cores are delayed a bit more on average but it could be their place in the que.
