Teck made the deal in 2002 with Salazar after they drilled 230 holes and did some prefeasibility work.

Someone (Mike, Elmer?) told me this was a standard deal at the time and would have been written differently today. He didn't tell me in what way but I would imagine that the clause to arrange the financing is the trickiest issue since it is a much larger project than envisioned.
