Although there is a ton of oppostion to the Enbridge pipeline in this part of Northwest BC that doesn't seem to extend to mining for the most part.

The business community here is very supportive of mining and the Natives in the area are looking for employment and benefits from new mines having been pleased with the support they received during the life of the Eskay Creek Mine. When I have talked to them they certainly are aware of and have good things to say about Copper Fox and Teck as well.

Having flown over both Galore and Schaft my belief is that logistics and economics will dictate that Schaft is the first off the mark but we will have to wait and see how this big chess game is played out I suppose.
