Sure thing, Webgogs. I am onboard with what you are saying.
I am an administrator in a large organization. If one of my units or departments pulled this, I would be sitting right on top of them, expecting detailed updates weekly. I think all the out of town conferences and shows have yielded limited usefulness and may be a distraction at this critical time. So, CUU management:
- please stay home and watch over the company.
- Keep the contractors on task.
- No distractions.
- If BXX is a distraction, put it on hold too (boy did it suffer today too).
- Nothing is more important than the BFS right now. Right now the company needs to focus their attention.
Personally, I will be calling the company routinely and asking fairly direct questions:
- where things are at?
- when was the last time they had a "high level" meeting with Tetra Tech?
- What Mr. Gray's activities are?
- How is Mr. Gray maintaining oversight?
- How often Mr. Gray is reporting in to the CUU executive?
- How can they be sure they everything is being attended to?
- How can they be absolutely sure that TT is not short-staffed?
Respectfully, Jason, Mike, and Elmer are going to be VERY busy as their phone will jangle with requests for detailed updates, each and every step of the way.
