Just out of curiousity, why do people find it so hard to believe that TT did lie about their progress to Elmer & management? From what I understand, Wardrop was taken over by TT and CUU was a Wardrop project - and because of this could have been "put to the side" to finish projects that were from TT, possibly with the intention/thought that they'd be able to do it in a short amount of time (underestimating how big and difficult SC is to work with).

I realize that it's a bit incompotent that management wouldn't know exactly where and what was going on and that going from "on-time" twice, to "delayed for another few months" but, that would be why we would hire oversight at this point, but if the reason Elmer didn't know was because he was lied to, doesn't that stand for grounds for a fine, or a lawsuit or something?

Because either Elmer is lying to us (his own reputation, that he's built for decades and still needs for further projects such as BXX) or he was lied to. At least that's what the NR implies if you don't look deeper, which we shouldn't have to - if Chappy is right, the news report should say that we're working on a new mine plan because the old one wasn't working. We're not even promised the new RE in the BFS, just the "possibility" of it being there.
