Vette, is it worth mentioning when insiders buy a few thousand shares? I want to see them buy hundreds or millions to draw the attention of bigger investors. A few thousand shares is nothing even for small retail investors like me.
I'm thinking if I was an insider why would I want to just throw in a million and run the price up when I know the public will cash out and run it back down? It's happened so many times already, If I did it bit by bit I would probably end up double the amount of shares. It's still it's own money and Mcdonald is probably pretty smart to not throw his money away to appease the public. They probably really don't care what the price is now if they kind of have an idea what the buyout price is already.
