Recall a bit of buzz some time ago about CUU hiring an outside person to help with the negotiations, presumably with Tech

Don't recall anything ever coming of that

Is it possible that this is the role now filled by Jim Gray, and that he was always the guy for that assignment?

In other words is this simply playing out now the way it was hinted at some time ago?
