“We observe a fair amount of debate among clients about whether to move forward in this (volatile) environment,” said Tom Massey, Citigroup’s head of metals and mining and chemicals coverage for Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Delaying corporate activity is not an option for some, as the best assets are getting more expensive because a lot of them have already been consumed.”
