Has anyone been watching the claim staking in our neck of the woods? The BC Gov mineral titles office just updated the claims maps this AM.

There used to be several isolated groups of claims: CUU, PGS, Galore, Roca being the main companies forming groups or small aggregates in our neigbourhood.

Now... there is no unstaked territory between us- all of the new stakes have filled in the gaps between Schaft, Galore, Mess Creek and beyond. The remaining unstaked territory is a shrinking gap between SC and BXX's Dok creek project to the Northwest. Much of this open area is under thick ice but that may not stop further staking.

This map might give some idea of what I am talking about. Schaft Creek claims are in the top right, Mess Creek towards the bottom right. Galore claims form the far left side. Roca is in the middle bottom area. BXX's Dok Creek is floating alone near the top left.

The centre of this map used to be wide open last week. Oh... one more thing: as far as I have checked, Teck Resources owns a good portion of these new claims.
