I wouldn't disagree with what you say. I think copper prices will remain steady for the forseeeable future. No big swings either up or down. ( certainly not down, I hope..)

I think the China slowdown can be balanced by growth elsewhere and as you say, China still needs a load of copper regardless of slowdown. I have said it before but I would caution against using LME stocks as your only stock metric. The warehouse levels in China are still very high. Apart from that, the situation looks very good for copper and CUU.
