As others have said, there are a number of differences between Orko and CUU. Another factor to remember is that every stock has its flippers and its longs. Those who positioned themselves in Orko hoping for a buyout may have decided to abandon the stock when they heard that Orko is going to take on the property itself. That's a longer time commitment.

If, and it's a big IF, CUU ever announced that Teck has opted not to back-in to Schaft Creek at all, there would probably be some investors who will flee the stock. That would leave an incredible opportunity for the rest of us to pile in and gobble up as many cheap shares as we could possibly afford, knowing there is still ENORMOUS value in the property.
