Teck needs that land in case once they start mining through deeper grades they don't find out the mineralization extends a lot further out than the TITAN revealed. Teck cannot afford to have a competitor buy the adjacent land and reap the benefits, this land has been sitting since the 80's. Picture the stakes in the ground as shooting darts and hey they might get real lucky but for the small cost of the land its definitly worth the potential.
