I have given up on the timeline prediction game. Completely.

As Metacomet wisely describes it, it's a "fool's errand" to continue to guess at when the buyout will be announced.

If this game winds up this week for $3 per share, or $5 per share or $7.50 per share, I'm walking away with a satisfying profit.

If it drags out for several more months, I'm going to keep picking up as many shares as I can afford and then enjoy an even more satisfying profit when things are finally over.
