In recent correspondence with L. Roulston he mentioned that he's doing a comprehensive report on the area and is expecting to be publishing it within the next couple of weeks. He has been positive Schaft Creek in the past so it should be good for us. He also said that it was clear there were major developments underway in the longer term, and that the recent claims being staked, as per Chappy's maps, were a confirmation of a commitment to the area.
Brent Cook thought the claims indicated, maybe, that Teck had a new idea to chase. He doesn't follow the area though, and probably has little interest.
Teck themselves said that they are "still a long way away from that kind of decision." (I asked about whether the claims indicated they were intending to buy out CUU.) "Copper Fox still have to complete the feasibility study on Schaft Creek for us to consider our next steps." Brave words but the staking would seem to indicate some consideration has already been happening!
