I would argue that there has been a gold rush mentality for stakes around Schaft and Mess since early Jan 2012. The prior 6 months there were some little claims showing up here and there. Mr Marko and Mott were up to a lot of it.
The dark blue areas in the GE image are a general group of Misc companies and individuals. I set out to map CUU, Galore and TCK. Most (roughly 80% IIRC), of the dark blue claims are new this year.
Mr Marko has been busy (thick orange outline) and has added more since i made this on April 4th.
I'm waiting for the paint to dry on these new lines before I go thru the hassle of mapping them LOL!
TCK wasn't the first to this little picnic in 2012 but definitely brought the biggest blanket!
