Message: Funny how people didn't know Teck's copper position.

Elmer's been alluding to it for a year and a half. They are flogging their dogs because they have to. People ask about capex... umm aahhh at this point Galore looks pretty to Teck. Where else are they going to get 100 years of copper at a good price? In a down turn they need the better deposits so they can reduce operations at the more costly projects. Given world events, they also need the stability they can get here especially if they have to shut down production at another site. Shutting down a site custs off money to that government and that rarely goes over well.

Are we really waiting on the reRE? Yes but we were also waiting on Teck to have its results posted and for them to get their AGM out of the way. We've been told 2 months for a reRE. That puts us squarely in over time. So what's the hold up now? It is to drill or not to. Drilling will cost money and if you're in black out you can't kick in cash for the options so you have to dillute your own holdings. I was told that Teck has enough information and should be able to make a decision. Things got complicated by the FS but this should not have derailed Teck. Looking at what we've done this last quarter tells me that we would have done this anyway.
