From their presentation, Tck's portion of the Capex is $4.75B. QB2 will cost $1.07 per lb Cu for the first 5 yrs, average $1.35 Life of Mine (39 yrs).

I saw the following info in SH's TCK bb from CIBC. Not sure what the discount rate for the 12% IRR calculation was (8% ? more?).

Teck outlined capex of $5.6B for the QB2 project with IRR of 12%, which may not be as robust as some desire. But we think the merits of investing in the project lie in Teck's ability to limit construction and operating risks, and ultimately successfully deliver the project as envision
