Do you know that these bridges are headed to the Galore road? It is bridge building season in BC.

A lot of bridges get laid at this time for forestry, oil/gas and mining. BC has about 500k kms of gravel/dirt road and on average about 8% more is added each year. In just the Quensel forest district alone some 1500 km's of road a build into the bush each year. There is maybe an average of one bridge every 5kms in Quensel.

Fish protection guidelines compress bridge building timing into small frenzied bridge building windows where risk to fish habitat or behaviour is reduced.

Where fish are not an issue, drying/thawing ground conditions about now add to the volume of road building activity.

Unless the bridge deck being shipped has "Galore or bust" written on it it could be one of thousands going anywhere!
