CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
He also said that they are working hard to finish it early if possible! The really important points I got from his statements were 1. The 4 year clause on completing the mine is binding on Teck should they decide to back in for 75% and 2. They will transfer control (Liard shares) to CUU upon completion of the BFS and then Teck will have to earn them back! Teck has only one option if they do not like these terms - a complete buyout of CUU. They may just do that before BFS is completed! :)
