Message: BFS Timing

If Teck allows the BFS to be made public, they will not have any advantage even if they act the day after.

I am not forgetting, however, I was responding to your comment above about how they would lose their advantage if they acted even one day after the Feasibility was made public. I believe that they would maintain their advantage up until the time that they declare what percentage of the project they will choose to earn-back. Only at that point will it become clear how much of the project Copper Fox shareholders will own outright after Teck earns-back their share. (Not forgetting, of course, the lands outside the agreement.) The value of the project that current Copper Fox shareholders now own is unclear and that has been one of our biggest problems with investors.

There is a reason that every single time we attempt to place a dollar value on our shares we assess it at 25% of the total, and that is because Teck has the right to earn-back up to 75% and it will be unknown until they declare. Nobody would invest at this point, or buy us out, under the assumption that we own 100%.

You can't negotiate a deal where you are going to announce that we will back in for the full 75% and then also buy CUU's 25% when you haven't earned your 75% yet.

Well, obviously, they might offer to buy us out for 100% now, but they won't pay as if we owned 100% of the mining rights since the contractual agreement gives them a right that has a very high value.
