I'm not too concerned about the macro picture in the short term. The reason being every time the world gets too close to the edge the powers that be will tell the central bankers to print, print and print... Just look at the last 5 years from the 08 crash to now. What have they done to solve the debt crisis? Print, print and more printing. That's why commodities and metals will resume their long term climb. The Fed, ECB and other central banks will solve this crisis by the only way they know how .. more printing, more credit creation, more liquidity injections, more QE3 - call it what you want it amounts to the same thing - debasement of fiat currency. The place to be is in hard assets and companies that have them. Just wait and see. Another round of QE is coming and mining stocks will fly high once again. My 2 cents.
