Message: Quebrada Blanca 2 vs Schaft Creek

I can't imagine that Teck will want to develop two multi billion dollar copper projects simultaneously. I think it might come down to us versus Quebrada Blanca 2. We have the advantage of having multiple metals while QB2 has the advantage of having a much larger copper resource. QB2 has already completed their Feasibility Study and is waiting for approval from the Teck board. It is critical for us to complete our Feasibility Study so we can show Teck our numbers. I will view it as a bad sign if Teck proceeds with QB2 before our Feasibility Study is released.

Of course, if Teck can't pass up their sweetheart option agreement with us, they have the option of buying us out (to remove the 4 year clause) and shelving the project (or reselling it).

Thoughts anyone?
