Teck had $3.8B in cash last quarter. QB2 will cost them about $4.8B and Schaft Creek around $4B. They could afford to build both with the help of future cash flow and some debt facilities but keep in mind they have other projects that will require funding too (Fort Hills, Equinox). I still don't see it very likely that they will commit to both projects at once.
