Message: Teck Video extracts from here: http://www.teck.com/...

Well I just went and listend again to some 2011 Teck presentations and pulled some stuff from the various speakers.

Roger Higgins: Sr.VP Copper

http://www.teck.com/Generic.aspx?PAGE=Teck+Site%2fMedia+Pages%2fVideo+pages%2fCopper+Video&portalName=tc

Current Production is 300,000 T.

0:26 "Our near term growth targets are to increase our copper production by 40% by 2012."

0:47 "We are also actively exploring and assessing development opportunities fornew copper deposits in Canada....."

2:03 "At Teck our copper business strategy is very simple. We want to optimize production at our existing mines while developing an Extensive portfolio of additional long-life copper resources"

Tim Watson : Sr. VP. Major Projects

I noted a number of things repeated at each of these major projects. Each had a mention of securing or consideration of seaport access. Its no wonder that Elmer comes out and secures port access. Probably at their request.

Fred Daley: VP Exploration

http://www.teck.com/DocumentViewer.aspx?elementId=199046&portalName=tc

1:11 "I'm not going to talk this year as much as I did last year about partnering and investing with Juniors, but it is a significant part of our business strategy"

Ok. how come if its such a significant part of the strategy? Cards are being kept close to chest I am thinking. Dont want to reveal their hand.

7:00 Slide 9 goes into chargeability at Highland Valley via Titan24. Interesting. We too utilize the Titan24. Its costly and there aren't too many of those units available. (booked well in advance)

From Quantec site:

Titan 24 offers greater certainty of results for more accurate drill targeting, and reduces the number of drill holes required.

Regarding the HVC slide:

8:32 "look at the reference to the geology map here, this was 1981, this was 30 years ago. "

"There was some old drill holes but they were never followed up. We think that indicates that there is tremendous potential"

WOW sounds like Teck (who used to have our Shaft Creek property) may have had some folks that weren't doing proper "follow up". Guess that is another reason they are watching us closely and list us on the Projects To Watch on Slide 11.

Regarding Shaft Creek: 9:40 "Teck has a decision to make...", "

Good luck to all. End in view!
