Nice to be grounded in long-term reality, Golfyeti. What's the average annual return on the Dow Jones since 1929? Something like 11 or 12 per cent?

There are some stinker years but there are a lot more of them where people get flustered and sell and then live to regret it.

(Of course the Dow and the TSX Venture are not the same exchange -- we stand to win even bigger or lose even bigger in a lot of cases).
