Hi YN
That is certainly the cautionary end note but the overall tone is positive.
'While external threats remain, particularly from Europe, China should remain a significant positive driver of copper demand and prices.'
Advising caution is just sensible but growth up and imports up and the copper stock levels down are all positive indicators or am I just being optimistic?
'While far from robust (at least by Chinese standards), copper bulls breathed a sigh of relief after growth ticked up to 9.6 percent from 9.3 percent.
Also encouraging were China’s imports of copper, which jumped by 10 percent in May.'
I would absolutely agree with you on what is left to be said, though! It is like watching a clock...
