China importing copper? And I thought they had a lot stockpiled, didn't need anymore and saw their consumption slowing. Is it possible that they were deliberately driving the price down so they could import more at a cheaper price?

When I look at the 5 year chart, it looks like copper could slide a bit closer to $3. I guess it depends on what's going on in the rest of the world. In the long term, I have no concerns and think, as a commodity, copper is one of the best places you can put your money.
