Endless possibilities ! $5/sh CUU and both my kids are set for undergraduate and post graduate education in their RESP's. They are 5 and 8, so I have only been contributing the maximum govt 20% matched contribution over those years. My spouse and i would never have to contribute another cent and would just have to roll that cash into a GIC for both of them.
Between the joint nonregistered and the 2 TFSA's, well lets just say.......I would have a LOT more choices in life than I do at the moment. To me that is where the prize is, not having a tonne of cash, just having more choice. Do I pay off the house? Does one of us stop working? Do we keep working and laugh at the next 15 years with a considerable amount of residual cash flow with lots of toys? On and on the possibilities go.
then the RRSP's. Well they pad our pensions at 55 y/o in a HUGE way. Anywhere above $5/sh and........well............I jsut get giddy thinking about it ! Like Golf said Eye on the prize people !
