As long as it doesn't become a common recurrence perhaps tomorrow and during the next few weeks everything will be fine. The only way he can sell on bad intel is using a drip strategy to keep it on the downlow (lowdown?) not to provoke suspicion and panic selling. As well, EE is obviously not selling; he just bought at a higher sp recently. Maybe he needs money for milk and bread :-)
