"Essentially yes." I give more credit to investor’s intelligence I guess. I have not come across any discussions where Galore's high CAPEX was automatically transferred to its neighbours, far from it. Usually the discussion is in the opposite direction - why SC is going to be a lot cheaper.

"..but some people are too lazy or disinterested." I agree with you but let's not forget that this will be a very small % of the investors and has no impact on the SP.

"If you say mining in northern B.C., those that are familiar will most likely recall the negative aspect and position that Nova Gold and Teck are in with GC." I tend to think that folks have moved past that, even though we do have some folks with those sentiments, but in general the mood is not as bleak as some would like to portray it. Talking to folks at the Vancouver resource shows indicated to me that folks are more concerned about the macro stuff then about what the NDP (should they get to power) will do again with the mining industry.
