Nice to see copper closed at $3.49 today.

Silver up by $1.11.

Gold just about crested $1,600 again.

All is not necessarily right with the world, but there's enough going well that it will make for a more relaxing long weekend than if the Euro leaders had stumbled badly again and we were deep in the red once more.

Happy Canada Day. Thank goodness for this country and its vast resources, particularly Schaft Creek!
