If so, Elmer should get a reality TV show called Porphry Hunter (a more sophisticated version of Gold Rush on Discovery Channel). Could make for some good TV with EE, the savvy rich Mexican and a host of other characters. They could document the backroom deals that go on with big time players like Teck, the field work, troubles with the drills during the winter etc.
