Good you said "almost"! The Provincial NDP'ism can be just as deadly! Basically all the privately held potash mines were "nationalized" by the Saskatchewan NDP Gov't in the 70's and 80's (they were pretty much forced to sell to the Gov't) and the BC NDP almost killed the resource industry years back; although in recent years, the NDP has leaned more towards the centre and rather than the far left Thank goodness for that!
