Paying heed to traditions of harvesting or meteorologists or calendars means little when the long arm of the law gets involved.

Schaft Creek is located in MU 6-21 and the Government of British Columbia strictly states that first day of Moose Season is August 20th. Clearly then, the last day of summer is August 19th and therefore next week is in fact late summer.
