I don't think the global picture is as bad as it seems and also think that the market has already been discounted based on the worst case scenario (i.e. collapse of the EU and global recession). It seems quite unlikely that either of these things are going to happen.

There is also some positive news in terms of economic trends and seems as though the supply of copper has dried up enough to increase demand. I thought some of you would find this article interesting.
