Totally Befuddled

Obviously the market knows something we don't or at least interprets it differently from us. The price is tanking. the market must consider the shutdown to be for a bad reason. Are they uninformed? Are we missing something? I was considering buying more because discusion last night indicated buyout at a good price was imminent. Now I'm glad I didn't but am also totally confused. Can anyone shed any light?
