Thanks for pointing that out. That seems strange. I didn't doubt the statement, because I don't really pay attention to the price of coal or lead, but looks like lead has been beaten up too, unless you're looking at the last 60 days.

Thankfully copper is holding steady around the $3.50 mark and the supplies are dwindling. Environmental do-gooders continue to push electric cars and windmills (requiring huge amounts of copper). I'm also hoping residential building will pick up as well. I don't see the demand for copper decreasing and think that the slowdown in China is being overplayed, so they can continue to stockpile cheap copper.
