CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Teck may have to find a partner to buy out this district as it is getting much bigger than originally thought. Nevertheless, their modus operandi has always been to partner with another Major on big projects like this. This may also explain why Elmer is considering going back to do more drilling.
We will have to see what transpires in the next few weeks. My thinking has always been that we will see a buyout from Teck or a combination of Teck and partner(s) before the BFS drops. Countdown getting closer...
