This is a reality show put out by the BC government, AMEC and others. It is to be broadcast Saturdays on CTV. Anyway, the end of October episode features an engineer from Teck who works at the Highland Valley Copper mine. [The Executive Producer, Maggie Dorf] "Dorf hopes to present mining in a favourable light and attract new recruits to the industry."

They are sponsoring a whole mini-series promoting working in the mining industry, specifically in BC. It's really amazing to me how much effort the provincial government is putting into the future of mining in BC. They couldn't be more supportive. We really need to get that environmental process moving along before the next election.
