Actually this is what they said:

"The results of the feasibility study for the Schaft Creek project are expected to be delivered in September 2012."

If you think about it, that is different from "late summer." It does seem to leave room for the end of September all of a sudden.

When you read it you can also see that they are saying the results of the feasibility will be delivered, and that seems to leave room for a News Release with the numbers, rather than the feasibility itself which also means that the clock won't be ticking from that date.

Personally, I don't think that matters particularly. I think Elmer is perfectly well aware of the need to press Teck on their decision and if they don't rush that clock then it implies they are talking to Teck already.
